This was a hidden gem of a building located in the centre of the historic village of Greystoke. The buildings were hidden behind tall Leylandi Hedge and in need of modernisation.

Summary
The estate and properties were Grade II listed and permission was granted for 3 phases of work phased with the client over 3 years to achieve their target cost plan.
These were;
- Refurbishment and modernisation of the main house
- Conversion of the small stone barn into a single bedroom annex/holiday home
- Conversion of the detached Coach House to a luxury 4 bed holiday home
Significant features included;
- Biomass boiler feeding the whole complex with heat and hot water
- Glass lantern to the Coach House
- Removal of internal walls to give open plan kitchen living space
- Reinstated facade features including sensitive repairs to sliding sash windows
- Full re-roofing works including truss repairs and installation of a vaulted main bedroom suite with all timber products produced in our workshops by our Carrock joiners
